Boyd VanPelt III started fixing cars in high school in the sixties. He was called away to serve honorably in the Army in Vietnam, returning to start Van’s Garage in January of 1971. As his family grew, his sons John and Stephen, have come to work with him.
Since the beginning, Van has worked to provide “Better service at a fair price” to his customers. He maintains a healthy business mostly by word of mouth.
Van does State Inspections, computer diagnostics, fixes Check Engine lights, and does major and minor repairs: transmissions, tune-ups, engine replacement, brake tune-ups and replacements, and refinishing broken rotors. He is a Jasper engine and transmission authorized dealer.
There is a quiet waiting room beside the garage.
